Black Diamond to Frank Alberta
Highway 22 and then west on 3 to Frank
Lunch is buffet style at the Pure Country Saloon (confirmed... approx.
$12)

Coffee and mingle commences at 10:30 am at "The Stop" in Black
Diamond.
Departure for Frank at 11:15 am sharp (please fuel up before
departure)
Last chance gas is in Longview.
One way distance is 149 kms.
The Saloon is expecting us at 1:00 pm.

We'll hang around there for a while and look at departing around 2:30
pm.

Return trip is the same way we came back up highway 22.

Return trip gas is available at the FasGas just before the Saloon. The
Shell down the road is now closed.

Options for a refreshment stop on the way back include the Longview
Hotel or a run east of Chain Lakes over the Nanton Pass to the Nanton
Hotel. (an extra 43 kms)
