It looks like a group is starting to form for 2008. The following is a tentative schedule that I have set up for a couple of us that have expressed an interest. There are other options available though. This is just what I had in mind. As in past years, we can ride some of the way together to match plans you might have. I know that some of you prefer to hotel it or stay at campgrounds a little closer to Sturgis. Let me know if you would like a little more information.
Aug 1st leave Okotoks for Great Falls and spend the night at the KOA there. We have booked a cabin.
Aug 2nd leave Great Falls for Yellowstone Park and spend one night there. We have booked a cabin at the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and Cabins but you can also stay at a hotel in Gardiner, Montana, just outside the gate.
Aug 3rd leave Yellowstone for Sheridan where we have booked a cabin at the KOA
Aug 4th leave Sheridan for the Mount Rushmore Koa where we have booked a cabin for four nights. We wanted to stay in the park as we want to spend a little more time in the Black Hills and a little less in Sturgis than previous trips.
Aug 8th leave the Black Hills for Hardin, Mt where we will spend the night at the KOA. Once again, we have booked one of the cabins.
Aug 9th leave Hardin for Great Falls and stay in a cabin at the KOA there.
Aug 10th (Sunday) head for home.
